Today we conducted a planned lockdown drill. We are proud of our students and staff for practicing these safety procedures with readiness. As always, remember: If you see something, say something!

This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow is the last day of ticket sales for our Fall Social on Thursday, October 30th. No tickets will be sold Thursday. Tickets will be on sale at lunches tomorrow for $5.00. Students wear normal attire. The social ends at 5:00 PM. Thanks!

We’re excited to share updated details for the OMS Fall Social on 10/30! The event will begin right after dismissal and end at 5:00 PM. Admission is $5. Tickets will be sold at lunch 10/27–10/29. Please see the attached flyer. Happy Friday!
Attention 6th Grade Band Parents/Guardians:
The Beginning Band Fall Showcase will begin at 6:00 PM in the OMS gym tonight.
Doors will open at 5:30 PM. Parents or guardians should attend with their child. We look forward to making music with you!
Attention 7th Grade Families,
The first payment for our 7th grade Washington DC trip is due Thursday, October 23rd. Please make sure that you have filled out the paperwork and send in your payment by Thursday. If you were unable to attend last week's meeting and would like details for the trip please email Shannon Stripling at shannon.stripling@okeeschools.org. We have planned an exciting and hope your child can attend!

🙌Attendance always matters, but October 6–10 is extra important! This week, the state takes its official enrollment snapshot, which helps determine school funding for the year.
✅ Students in class = accurate count = the right funding to keep our district strong and full of opportunities for our kids.

On Wednesdays, we wear pink during Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💕
🎀School community- join us in showing support and spreading awareness by wearing pink each Wednesday throughout October.
🎀Together, we honor and remember those who have faced breast cancer, and support those currently affected by breast cancer. Let’s fill our schools with a sea of pink this month. Nobody fights alone 💗
