📏 Learning is hands on in Mrs. Viray’s 3rd grade classroom! Students rotated through a measurement center where they practiced choosing the right tool, estimating measurements, measuring objects, and comparing their estimates to the actual measurements. They’re building math skills while learning to think about whether their answers make sense! 📐

A HUGE thank you to all of our Seminole families who supported our most recent fundraiser! ❤️ Because of your support, we were able to raise $2,800 for PBIS! 🎉 These funds help us reward our students for following our school expectations and making positive choices each day. We love being able to celebrate our Stallions for being Ready, Responsible, and Respectful! We also want to give a special shout-out to our Top 10 Sellers! 🏆 These students worked hard, and we are so proud of their efforts! Thank you to all of our families who continue to make Lunch with Loved Ones such a special event each Friday! ❤️ We love seeing our families on campus and getting to share a little extra time together. This past week, we even had a special guest, Mr. Tedders, Superintendent of Okeechobee County Schools, pop in to say hello to some of our families while he was on campus! We will not be able to host Lunch with Loved Ones this Friday, October 9th, but have no fear! We will resume on Friday, October 16th. We can’t wait to see you then! 🖤

𝕍𝕚𝕤𝕚𝕓𝕝𝕖 𝕃𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘! Learning rounding with a little creativity! 🎈 Ms. Coleman found a fun and memorable way to help her students understand rounding by using balloons! Students could actually see that when a number is 5 or greater, it rounds up, just like the balloon goes up. 🎈⬆️ We love when our teachers find creative ways to make learning visible, meaningful, and fun! Way to go, Ms. Coleman! ❤️

A very special thank you to our wonderful Rotary friends for spending time in our classrooms this week and reading with our Stallions! 📚❤️ Our students absolutely loved having you visit, share stories, and make reading time so special. We are so grateful for the time you give to our students and for the way you continue to support our Seminole family. Thank you for helping create such special moments for our students! ❤️📖

Today was an incredibly special day for one of our amazing first grade teachers, Mrs. Damron! ❤️ Mrs. Damron recently completed her apprenticeship program and officially graduated! While her graduation ceremony is still to come, we couldn’t let this accomplishment pass without celebrating her along the way! Her first grade team surprised her with the sweetest dance party to celebrate all of her hard work and this exciting accomplishment. It was such a fun and meaningful way to recognize everything she has achieved! A special shout out to Miss Immerfall for helping organize the entire celebration and making sure Mrs. Damron felt extra special today! We love seeing our Stallions come together to celebrate one another! ❤️ Congratulations, Mrs. Damron! We are so proud of you and all that you have accomplished! We can’t wait to celebrate you again at your official graduation! 🎓❤️

Mrs. Damron’s and Mrs. Amanda’s classes collaborated on a fun, hands-on activity using their five senses to explore the differences between living and nonliving things, with the help of gummy worms and earthworms! 😊🪱
