At approx., 12:24PM the Okeechobee Sheriff's Office notified our SRO to move into a Shelter in Place due to suspicious activity nearby. At approx., 12:30PM, the Sheriff's Office notified NES to lift the Shelter in Place. We applaud our students and staff for taking this seriously. All normal activities have resumed.

NES families, Tomorrow is an early release day. Students dismiss at 11:30AM. Due to the shortened day and the upcoming holiday, please do not send in any money tomorrow.
